What you’re watching
A trained model with 96 fruit-fly neurons decides when to flap. Each decision drives the game, the button, and the fly’s front leg. The brain panel shows the values and signals from that same calculation. Select a neuron to follow its connections.
The model reads the bird’s position and the pipes. The fly body and leg gestures are an animation of its choices, not a simulation of a living fly. No gameplay or brain activity is prerecorded.
